Household cleaners

While reading one of my magazines I found an interesting article:

Over using Antibacterial cleaners can contribute to the emergence of anti-biotic resistant bacteria that are a growing cause of hard to treat illnesses. Dioxin could be formed from the antibacterial tricosan, a probable carcinogen in sunlight, and chloroform in chlorinated water. An all purpose cleaner is all you need unless you have a sick person living in your home.

Chemicals in some oven cleaners can be corrosive, irritating to your eyes, lungs, and skin. Use a non-abrasive nylon scrubbing pad and baking soda instead. Add salt for tough stains.
